The Official Journal of the European Union published the Last publications of the Court of Justice of the European Union including:

– Judgment of the Court (Eighth Chamber) of 22 April 2021 (request for a preliminary ruling from the Lietuvos vyriausiasis administracinis teismas — Lithuania) — ‘Lifosa’ UAB v Muitinės departamentas prie Lietuvos Respublikos finansų ministerijos (Case C-75/20): Article 29(1) and Article 32(1)(e)(i) of Council Regulation (EEC) No 2913/92 of 12 October 1992 establishing the Community Customs Code and Article 70(1) and Article 71(1)(e)(i) of Regulation (EU) No 952/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 October 2013 laying down the Union Customs Code must be interpreted as meaning that, for the purpose of determining the customs value of imported goods, the costs actually incurred by the producer for their transport to the place where they have been brought into the customs territory of the European Union should not be added to the transaction value of the goods when, according to the agreed delivery terms, the obligation to cover those costs lies with the producer, even though those costs exceed the price actually paid by the importer, provided that that price corresponds to the real value of the goods, a matter which is for the referring court to establish.

OTICE OF THE IMPENDING EXPIRY OF CERTAIN ANTI-DUMPING MEASURES

The Official Journal of the European Union published the Notice of the impending expiry of certain anti-dumping measures on imports of certain graphite electrode systems originating in India following an expiry review pursuant to Article 11(2) of Regulation (EU) 2016/1036 of the European Parliament and of the Council (OJ L 64, 10. 3.2017, p. 46).

Anti-dumping measures

The Official Journal of the European Union published the following Regulations:

  • Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/939 of 10 June 2021 imposing a provisional anti-dumping duty on imports of mono ethylene glycol originating in the United States of America and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia;
  • Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/940 of 10 June 2021 imposing a provisional anti-dumping duty on imports of birch plywood originating in Russia.

Investigation concerning possible circumvention of the countervailing measures

The Official Journal of the European Union published the

  • Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/863 of 28 May 2021 initiating an investigation concerning possible circumvention of the countervailing measures imposed by Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/776 on imports of certain woven and/or stitched glass fibre fabrics originating in People’s Republic of China and Egypt by imports of certain woven and/or stitched glass fibre fabrics consigned from Morocco,whether declared as originating in Morocco or not, and making such imports subject to registration;
  • Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/864 of 28 May 2021 initiating an investigation concerning possible circumvention of the anti-dumping measures imposed by Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/492 on imports of certain woven and/or stitched glass fibre fabrics originating in People’s Republic of China and Egypt by imports of certain woven and/or stitched glass fibre fabrics consigned from Morocco, whether declared as originating in Morocco or not, and making such imports subject to registration.
